BRIDAL STYLE: Love At Full Throttle - A Hot Rod Themed Wedding

Every couple has passions they share with one another that brings them closer together. When you add elements of this to your wedding theme it makes your guests feel included in that intimate part of your lives. For Chelsea and Zachary Briggs wedding, they took a passion that is rarely associated with weddings and created a hot rot themed wedding experience that was as beautiful as it was unique.
Hosting their wedding at the Marconi Auto Museum, the automotive theme of their wedding was front and center, but it was the subtle details that drew the biggest smiles. Delivering their rings down the aisle, their young ring bearer, years away from getting behind the wheel of a hot rod himself, was accompanied instead by his father, bearing the rings and adorable attire fit for performing a tune-up.
Going with a casual style that matched the vibe of their venue, C + Z ditched the silverware in favor of wood textured décor. Along with the DIY centerpieces, entertainment was prepared for each guest in the form of diecast hot rod wedding favors parked on each plate. Each miniature car being a different model or color, guests could swap favors until they returned home with their dream car.
The cartoonish appearance of Chelsea and Zachary’s wedding cake, representing the couple’s fun-loving attitude was also an ode to one of their favorite past times. Paved across the top of their cake, the Main Street of America ignited some of their favorite memories they shared on the open road and invoked excitement for future road trips they planned to experience as a married couple.
When it was time for C + Z to make their grand exit, there was only one way for this car-loving couple to depart from the venue. Guests didn’t have to go far to wish them farewell, as a vintage Eldorado cruised right into the venue itself to carry these newlyweds into their new life.
