BRIDAL STYLE: Vows Draped in Vintage
Los Willows Wedding Estate | Fallbrook, CA
The classic wedding tradition goes as follows: “Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue,” so why not tie in your “something old” to your very own wedding theme? Vintage weddings add a timeless, classic feel to your special day, while also allowing a couple to incorporate personal and sentimental heirlooms as pieces of décor scattered throughout.
There was something so comforting and intimate about Masielle and Matthew’s wedding day, held at Los Willows Wedding Estate in Fallbrook, CA. Every detail from the table decor to Masielle’s intricate beaded and laced gown was beautifully tied together in the presence of family and friends eager to help the happy couple tie the knot!
Although Masielle and Matthew kept their ceremony rather traditional, bits of vintage accents were sprinkled throughout the grounds. Florals with shades of cream and soft pink complimented the overall theme, as well as light sheets that were eloquently draped along the wedding arch.
Guests made their way to their seats among a picturesque meadow with majestic oak trees and antique arbor. Vintage pillars topped with lush floral arrangements lined the wooden aisleway, serving as a quaint, yet classic eye soar on a perfectly sunny day!
Following the ceremony, guests made their way to the tented pavilion which was decked out head to toe with vintage decor. The couple opted for old-fashioned candelabras draped with pearls as centerpieces, rather than floral arrangements. Glassware and rustic gold table settings complimented the neutral tones throughout the reception as guests felt as though they were instantly transported back 100 years to an era of antique royalty.
Within the stunning Southern California venue lied antique furniture topped with memories of the happy couple in dark wood vintage framework. These antique heirlooms gave a greater sense of comfort and closeness to family and friends attending Masielle and Matthew’s special day.
As one of the many small, but meaningful touches, we couldn’t help but gush over Masielle and Matthew’s personalized leather-bound journals filled with their special vows to one another. The booklets were etched with their names and wedding date on the front cover, and will undoubtedly be one of their most cherished mementos, keeping their words sacred for years to come!
