BRIDAL STYLE: A Graceful Garden Gathering
There's really nothing quite like the timelessness and raw natural beauty of a garden wedding. Every aspect from the fairytale setting, minor details, to the overall ambiance, each take part in bringing your love story to life. Taylor and Taylor exchanged “I Do’s” at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, CA, on the property’s Oaks Room ceremony site, and by the looks of it, every aspect of this floral soirée made for the most perfect evening.
Although many garden weddings have a tendency to feel quaint and casual, Taylor and Taylor incorporated their own unique touch to create a more refined and elegant vibe. The couple wed among the property’s sweeping deck, in front of a natural stone waterfall and stunning chandeliers draping from the lush greenery.
They kept florals and decor to a minimum, letting the natural beauty do all the work. Guests were pleasantly surprised by the calm, yet stunning oasis that served as the perfect location to begin a lifetime of pure bliss.
Vintage candle lanterns and other decor pieces lined the reception grounds, as well as delicate mirror signage that led guests to their seats. From the ceremony, guests found their way to the reception area with natural light fluttering from gorgeous 360 degree French oak doors.
The saying goes as follows: “Less is more”, which couldn’t be more accurate when it comes to garden weddings. This neutral color palette and white rose arrangement encompasses delicate, feminine, and charmingly romantic all in one. Although garden weddings are generally ideal for warm-weather months, the couple utilized an indoor reception site with natural lighting, cascading twinkle lights and rustic iron chandeliers.
For the grand finale, T&T’s wedding cake was literally' the ‘icing on top’ of the perfect production. It served as an elegant eye-soar while also maintaining the simplicity of the overall theme. Fresh white roses were placed in the perfect spots to help accentuate the evening’s overall botanical beauty!
