THE LOVE STORY
We have all heard the importance of education, but in the case of Sasha and Cameron, the pursuit of an MBA would have a bigger impact on their lives than they ever dreamed of. While attending the University of Nevada Reno, Sasha, there to study for her MBA, had her fateful encounter with Cameron who was coaching the university’s baseball team. While reflecting on their initial relationships, Sasha said, “We connected instantly, and knew within a few weeks that we were soulmates”.
Upon spending time together, their initial instincts were confirmed: They were meant to be. So, after a year and a half of dating, Cameron, joined by the love of his life, relocated to California for a new coaching position. “We were about to head to dinner when Cameron told me how proud he was of me for not crying with the stress of moving. I asked him when he thought I would cry again (I’m very emotional), and he said right now! He got down on one knee in front of our house and proposed! Now, we always stop and take a moment to remember that special day when we get home.”
THE PERFECT DAY
As a dating couple, visiting the wineries of Temecula and exploring thoughts of marriage, Sasha and Cameron knew that a vineyard wedding was in their future. Their intuition once again proved to be correct, when they began to search for the perfect venue. “The moment we walked into Monte De Oro we knew it fit our personalities. It was simple, yet elegant.”
At their perfect venue, on their perfect day, one perfect moment stood out above the rest; “The first look! It put us both at ease to have a few minutes together before the ceremony. It helped us get the nerves out, and have that last moment as an engaged couple.”
Having both lived in numerous states, the wedding was an opportunity to finally bring together all the experiences, family and friends they had made throughout their lives for one very special occasion. “We had friends and family who came from all over the country for our special day! It was amazing to be surrounded by so many people that reflected the different stages of our lives.”
