THE LOVE STORY

Sometimes the greatest things in life are right in front of our faces, but it’s not without a stroke of luck that they are brought to our attention. Despite living just minutes away from one another, it wasn’t until Heather and Bryan were connected via online dating that they were made aware that the most important relationship of their lives had been right in their own neighborhood all along.

The moment they met they knew there was something special, but it was the details that helped them forge their connection on the first date. “When I first saw Bryan, I fell in love with his smile. He took me for sushi at a Japanese restaurant and he noticed my bento box keychain. He loved it and asked to take a picture which I thought was so cute!”

The first date paved the way for a second date, and the second a third, until they knew without a doubt that their relationship was worth pursuing even if it meant giving up everything. “We were together for a year when we learned Bryan would be moving across the world to the country of Georgia. He took me to the botanical gardens that we went to when we first started dating and proposed to me by a bench hidden in the trees because he knew I didn’t want people watching. I said yes, and we decided to move to Georgia together!”

THE PERFECT DAY

After enjoying a two-year engagement and returning to the US, Bryan and Heather found their perfect venue in Silverado, California at the zoological garden, Rancho Las Lomas. “Bryan and I really love animals, so we immediately fell in love with the venue. The whole resort is very romantic.”

As much as they loved the venue upon first look, it was only a glimpse of how amazing their wedding day would prove to be for both of them.

“The entire day was a blast and it just flew by! Getting ready with my friends, laughing with all my amazing vendors (Arty from Yours Truly Media included), Bryan making me bawl during our prayer and vows, sneaking off and taking pictures in the photo booth, the food, the dancing, being surrounded by our all-time favorite people, and of course finally being married to my best friend are just a few of our favorite highlights from one of the best days of our life.”
